What is a Yoga Holiday?
Lucy originally came up with the idea of running yoga holidays because she found yoga to be invaluable when travelling. Taking a holiday also allows us time away from our daily lives and schedules. This is a perfect opportunity to deepen your practice of yoga. There are two different types of yoga holidays currently running: India and Fiji. These are entirely different experiences.
The India yoga holiday involves a lot of travelling, with days for rest and daily yoga to anchor and inspire the journey. You'll see a lot of sights, you'll visit some of the most beautiful cities of Rajasthan, and you will have the opporunity to shop, to rest or to wander at leisure, to take photographs or to simply soak up this magical part of the world.
Fiji is a completely different experience. Fiji is restful. We stay on a remote tropical island. There will be no travelling and limited shopping opportunities. All meals are included and cooked from the resort's own organic garden. Morning and evening yoga classes will held in a beautiful yoga shala on the beach. If you enjoy more stimulation you have the opportunity to partake in creative workshops run during the day by Chris Saray. There are plenty of other optional activites.

Why should I come on a yoga holiday?
Our lives are busy. We find ourselves repeating the same behaviours and patterns and often when we want to make changes, we meet resistance. Even against the things that we really want to do, something stops us. Why? Because we need a new perspective and in order to get that, we need to move out of our daily routines and schedules in order to deeply rest. From deep rest, real transformation has the space to occur. Taking a yoga holiday with Inspirit Travel is not about doing yoga all day, it is a way of moving into yoga, whilst also having time to enjoy the other parts of your life. A yoga holiday is not a yoga retreat. We are not coming together to talk about yoga all day, we are coming together to enjoy time away and to use yoga to get the most out of that time away. You will return home refreshed and inspired.
