Lucy's yoga classes are accessible to all levels of experience, however, it is encouraged that most participants have some experience of hatha yoga, because the classes are not focused on teaching beginners.
The sessions are an integrated flowing practice of hatha yoga that warms the body and emphasises the link between breath and movement. These sessions also include some chanting, to open and clarify our connection with our hearts.
Whether or not you have an established daily yoga practice is not important. Each time we come to the mat to practice, we will let go of all previous experiences and engage wholeheartedly with what is moving through us in this moment. Awareness, rather than expertise with the forms, is the aim of these sessions.
For all participants, these holidays away from our everyday lives and routines offer a unique opportunity to quieten the mind and gain a new perspective.
Lucy will typically hold a 90 minute enlivening yoga session in the morning before breakfast and a 60 minute gentle yoga session and meditation in the evening.
