Yoga in Fiji & Thailand

Lucy's yoga classes are accessible to all levels of experience, however, it is encouraged that most participants have some experience of hatha yoga, because the classes are not focused on teaching beginners. The sessions are an integrated flowing practice of hatha yoga that warms the body and emphasises the link between breath and movement. These sessions also include some chanting, to open and clarify our connection with our hearts.

Whether or not you have an established daily yoga practice is not important. Each time we come to the mat to practice, we will let go of all previous experiences and engage wholeheartedly with what is moving through us in this moment. Awareness, rather than expertise with the forms, is the aim of these sessions.

For all participants, these holidays away from our everyday lives and routines offer a unique opportunity to quieten the mind and gain a new perspective.

Lucy will typically hold a 90 minute enlivening yoga session in the morning before breakfast and a 60 minute gentle yoga session and meditation in the evening.

Creativity Workshops on retreat

Working with small groups Chris introduces visitors to fun and easy ways of awakening or rekindling ones creative spirit. The focus is not be on creating masterpieces but on exploring different creative expressions in a supportive and relaxing environment.

Workshops include music making, painting/drawing and creative writing. Chris teaches the tricks and traps of lyric and music writing, from his own fifteen years experience as a songwriter. No experience is required in any discipline but participants are encouraged to bring instruments or other creative tools if they desire. Creative materials are provided.

Through yoga and creativity, we invite you to explore and reinforce what really matters in life.
